July 27, 2012 In recent days, the City of Anaheim has suffered as a result of violence and property damage at the hands of activists who claim to want to "take back Anaheim." This movement is the result of two shootings involving 2 known (documented) gang members and police. In each case, the gang members lost their lives in the encounter.
The activists fronting the "TAKE BACK" movement seem to think this is Mexico and the gang bangers and drug dealers (the majority of whom are of Hispanic descent), should be left alone and not bothered by police. Some are intent on what is called "Reconquista" and claim this "Aztlan."
These activists have been around a long time and this is not the first time they have caused serious problems in Anaheim and other cities. [see www.ccir.net]
In the late 1990's and early 2000's, CCIR was warning the City of Anaheim about Illegal Alien activists and their Aztlan movement to "take back" the entire Southwest "by violence if necessary."Many CCIR members attended and spoke at the City Council meetings at the time. With permission, we sponsored a rally at the City Hall. Our attendees were viciously attacked by the Aztlan activists, but Anaheim police officers were ordered to "stand down" and not protect either our right to free speech or our very lives. As a result, several of our members were seriously injured.
The City was sued by Judicial Watch on our behalf. Anaheim lost the lawsuit, but continued the policy of catering to the Illegal Aliens and their criminal lifestyle.In short, CCIR warned the city years ago, that condoning ANY criminal conduct by ANY Anaheim resident would result in a criminal society such as is prevalent in Mexico. The violent riots that just occurred are a natural consequence of that failed policy.
Anaheim is just starting to suffer the pains that were warned by CCIR, and if left unchecked, will get much worse. If you need an example of how bad it can get, look to the news from Mexico about the drug wars, kidnappings, beheadings, murders of thousands.
CCIR totally supports APD police officers doing their job and protecting innocent law-abiding Americans from these obviously pro-criminal activists. We urge the Mayor, City Manager, Police Chief to support every effort to ENFORCE ALL LAWS (including immigration laws - Title 8 U.S.C.), and "take back" Anaheim for the hard-working honest Americans who have earned it.
